The next time they want to take shots at Tommy Tuberville, they need to read about how Coach Tuberville sent a highly recruited and potential starting defensive back to study hall for all of spring practice because his grades dropped. The kid was not ineligible, his grades just dropped.
It’s also worth noting that the new academic center, created for the football team during Coach Tuberville’s tenure, is 30 yards from and looks out over the practice field. It has to be tough to be stuck inside studying while your teammates are out on the field practicing.
It’s just my opinion, but I doubt you would ever hear of such a thing at thUGA or the home of the Criminoles.
