One of our IA’s left our project team today. I don’t know if she left the company or moved to another project, but my guess is that she left the company. It’s funny… I can remember how naive I was when I first started with Sapient. I didn’t think I would ever change jobs and I couldn’t understand why anyone else would want to leave Sapient. Now here I am 5 years later and at my 4th job. I hate to see people leave, but I am sure they have a good reason. Honestly, I have enough to worry about in my own life.

Is anyone else as sick and tired of Terrell Owens as I am? He keeps running his mouth about “treat me like a man”, “be a man”, etc. Terrell Owens needs to take his own advice and HONOR THE CONTRACT HE SIGNED. He is a perfect example of why I (and a lot of other people) hate professional sports. He has moved into the same category as Mike Tyson with me - people who I never want to hear about, hear from, or see on television EVER AGAIN.
I am not saying he is not a great athlete, but this has nothing to do with his playing ability. He is never going to get what he wants because the NFL does not allow players to be paid like they are in Major League Baseball. The teams who could get in position to pay him what he thinks he deserves are going to be wary of the baggage he brings with him. It wouldn’t bother me at all to see him left out in the cold.
Finally, my advice to the Philadelphia eagles is for Hugh Douglas, Javon Kearse, and Donovan McNabb to take Terrell Owens out behind the practice facility and beat his ass. Maybe that will make him realize that he isn’t going to get anymore money, but they could win a Superbowl if he plays.

From the reports coming out of Auburn’s fall football practice, Brandon Cox is going to be fine taking over for Jason Campbell. But like my dad said last night, “If Brandon Cox gets hurt, we’re Alabama.” The same thing would have been true last year. If Jason Campbell had gone down, Brandon would not have been able to carry the load.
It sounds like they are solid at wide out with Devin Aromashadu stepping up to be a solid #2 behind Courtney Taylor. It also appears they have talent and depth at running back. Kenny Irons had a big scrimmage and is taking advantage of Tre Smith being out. My opinion is that by the middle of the year it will be Kenny Irons and Carl Stewart getting the bulk of the carries. The offensive line appears to be solid except for center. If Steven Ross comes back healthy, they should be fine because so many guys have gotten reps behind him. If he doesn’t come back, then they may be in trouble. They will definitely be tested early by Georgia Tech who has a decent defensive line, but not on the level as LSU.
On the defensive side of the ball, it appears that linebacker is solid with Travis Williams dominating the scrimmage. David Irons is stepping up at the corner left vacant by Carlos Rogers and there is quite a competition for the other corner. My opinion is that it will Jonathan Wilhite, the junior college transfer, who will eventually be the starter. Montavis Pitts just doesn’t seem to want it, and that’s a shame. There hasn’t been much talk about the safeties, which is always a good thing. The defensive line will be fine once all the ends are healthy. The nice thing there is the defensive ends are experienced, so they can miss a little more practice than some of the other guys. Inside I think they will be fine with TJ Jackson, Josh Thompson, Wayne Dickens, and Pat Sims rotating in and out.
Special teams are going to be fine, possibly the best in the SEC, which will be great because it took Coach Tuberville 5 years to get the kicking game in order.
Overall, the coaching staff is working hard to play down the positives and play up the negatives. This is pretty typical of a Tommy Tuberville run staff. They want the media to doubt them and remain under the radar. As a fan, that is fine with me. I think we will be better than people expect for two reasons: 1) Coach Tuberville has recruited speed first for the past 5 years, 2) Coach Al Borges.
21 days until the Georgia Tech game. WAR EAGLE!
